until the hours ooze into a long weekend. i don’t suspect that i really deserve it — nor can i really afford to take time off considering all the work that needs to be done — but i am starting to see double and two lost days are probably going to prove more worthwhile (to everyone involved) if i use them regenerating some lost mental capacity.

karin and i found ourselves at the new building last night: it was time to sign papers and explore the new neighborhood.

a short list of positives:

a. the new skytrain line will be opening at approximately the same time that we are moving.

b. swimming pool

c. air conditioned save-on-foods just a couple blocks away

d. holy mall, batman!

e. gollum will now be living 10 kilometers away, rather than 10 feet away

f. balcony + bbq + extra cash from cheap rent = fun, fun, fun!!
