in reference to yesterday’s famous nut
Dad boasts: (in reference to yesterday’s famous “LEGO.nut”) Yes I know Frank. He is an awesome poultry researcher. As you will note some of his publications are with my second cousin from Rocky Mtn House. Did not know Frank was a lego nut.
Brad smirks: Just goes to show what you can hide from your collegues. It really makes you wonder what people do when they go home at night. Or, how many people collect odd things… how many people have boxes of Star Wars figurines, balls of string the size of a couch, or bags upon bags of Hot Wheels.
karin.likes.starbucks
That’s twice since we have moved to the neighborhood: last night — albeit at my suggestion — we wandered over to one of the mall.starbucks to pick up a tall.chai.latte a’la the infamous coffee shop. No way does it even come close to the profound.enlightened.air of the Java Hut — woe is we for moving.and.living so far away — but it will do until something better moves into the neighborhood. I am thinking that due to the (new) arrival of the Skytrain in this localle there should be a gradual influx of commercial.type.fixtures to the neighborhood. If anyone is reading this that might be looking for a good investment opportunity, we are much in need of more cafes, coffee shops, slurpee stores, and video rental places within the near proximity of many of the new Skytrain stations. Sigh. Will no one take my money…???
I noticed that they are opening a whole swath of new shops at Broadway Station: Shoppers Drugs, A&W, a little wrap shop of some sort… Hmmm…
