penny coffee
I love discovering logical errors. For example, there is a ketchup ad on television right now where a little crab is on a beach. He steals a french fry from an unsuspecting sunbather, then scoots through a frogger-esque obstacle course to find the ketchup on the other side of the park. At the end of the ad the crab smuggly holds up his ketchup-dipped fry after undertaking his epic feat.
Oddly enough, and this is where the error comes in, there are already french fries with the ketchup. So the question is, why did the crab cross the park?
To get to the other fries?
Groan.
So, I wander over to Tim’s for coffee this morning. On my usual route I pass by a service station with a little food store. In the window there is a little sign that reads:
PENNY CANDIES: $0.99
Arbitrary logical error? Or disturbing social commentary? You decide.
