Each year for the past eight, I’ve completed a kind of ever-evolving, ever-growing New Year’s questionnaire I’ve called The New Years List. It’s a great big… long… huge… ginormous… incredibly ambitious writing project reflecting on my past twelve months and culminating in a multi-thousand word post. Each year these consume massive amounts of time –writing, planning, thinking, reflecting — for the month of December. Well, it’s December. New Years is getting closer, of course. I guess I’m going to need to start writing. Hopefully by then end of tonight I’ll have my revised 2013 list up and live and I hereby invite you, if you have a blog or just a social media feed to fill up somewhere, to copy the list, fill it in, and get ready to post it somewhere on New Years Eve. One word of advice… start now: it’s a lot of work.
